David Eide, Felhaber Attorney, presented Distinguished Service Award at The Real Estate Institute on November 12, 2010
Felhaber Larson Fenlon & Vogt is pleased to announce that David Eide was presented with the 2010 Distinguished Service Award by the Real Property Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. The presentation was made at the annual Real Estate Institute on Friday, November 12. The recipient must have contributed significantly to the practice of real property law in the state of Minnesota. During the award presentation David was referred to as the “father” of the Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act, the statute that has governed the development and operation of condominiums, cooperatives and townhomes in Minnesota since 1994. David was cited for over two decades of work as Chair of the Bar committee that successfully introduced that legislation and several subsequent amendments.
