Eric Riensche, a shareholder, has been with the Felhaber law firm since 2001. He has broad experience in both commercial litigation and governmental regulatory litigation. Eric has handled actions brought by the United States Department of Justice and by the State of Minnesota. Eric also handles private civil actions in the areas of unfair competition law, construction law, and employment law, among others. Eric has expertise in appeals, having obtained favorable results for clients before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Supreme Court, and the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Principal author of a brief to the Minnesota Supreme Court, resulting in a reversal of the conviction. This case centered on the responsible corporate officer doctrine, a sophisticated legal issue involving individual criminal liability of corporate officers.
- Langeslag v. KYMN, Inc.,
No. C7-02-635 (Minn. 2003)
Principal author of a brief to the Minnesota Supreme Court, resulting in a reversal of a jury verdict. This case represents an important clarification of Minnesota tort law, sharply limiting the availability of emotional distress damages.
