Jim Rude is an experienced business litigator with emphasis in the areas of corporation and partnership breakups, antitrust law and lender liability. Mr. Rude has focused his practice on business related issues such as corporate governance and advice including such areas as anti-trust and securities fraud prevention. He is uniquely qualified to draw on both his experience as an attorney and as a chief executive officer in advising businesses and individuals in both commercial and litigation matters. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies, as well as small and medium sized businesses. Mr. Rude was named a shareholder of the firm in 2006.
Mr. Rude has practiced law for more than 30 years. He was a partner in the law firm of Wildfang, Rude, Macintosh and Murray, Ltd., before becoming the CEO of Sentry Bancorp, Inc., a Minnesota bank holding company. He joined the Minneapolis law firm of Frommelt and Eide, Ltd., in December of 1993. Frommelt and Eide merged with the Felhaber, Larson, Fenlon and Vogt law firm in June of 1999.
