Jim Blomquist’s law practice covers all types of commercial contracts including, particularly, technology-related matters and trademark law. His clients include software developers and users, as well as authors, publishers, school districts, public utility companies and nonprofit organizations.

For more than 30 years, Jim has represented clients in a multitude of contract and licensing matters. His legal work includes advice regarding intellectual property licensing and copyright protection, registration and use. He has extensive experience in advising clients regarding trademark use and registration, including representation at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Jim is a past officer and chairperson, and currently an active member of the Computer Law & Technology Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
