Jim. Dawson represents clients in labor and employment law matters and related litigation before state and federal courts and the National Labor Relations Board. He serves as a management member of the American Bar Association Committee on the Development of the Law under the National Labor Relations Act and is a past Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He served as the firm’s President and Chairman of the firm’s Board of Directors.

Jim has also been a contributing editor to The Developing Labor Law, a nationally recognized text on labor law, and has authored numerous articles on employment law issues. He has also been a frequent lecturer, locally and nationally, addressing bar and business groups on labor and employment law topics. He is a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a non-profit professional organization honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in labor and employment law.
