Richard Salmen practices in the areas of bankruptcy, business organizations and reorganizations, commercial transactions, commercial lending, real estate, and cooperative law. His pragmatic, results-oriented approach to law serves his numerous closely held and other business entities, banks, commercial real estate, and electric cooperative utility clients in mergers and acquisitions, asset, business and real estate sale, purchase, lending and borrowing transactions; commercial leasing and landlord and tenant matters; business bankruptcy, financial restructuring and workout transactions for both debtors and creditors; entity formation and governance; and a variety of other commercial transaction matters.
A versatile practitioner, Rick has successfully forged a number of long-term client relationships during his career. He serves as “general counsel” for several closely held and other business clients.
Rick has previously served extended terms on the firm’s Management Committee and the firm’s Board of Directors.
