Grant Collins Interviewed by MPLS Star Tribune on Employees Refusing to Return to Work Due to COVID-19

Grant explained that for most healthy workers, the fear of getting sick does not justify their refusal to come back from furlough or layoff.  As such, their employer could discipline them, or even terminate if they choose.  If that happens, the employee likely suffers the additional penalty of losing their entitlement to unemployment compensation benefits.
