Attorney Brad Kolling presented the Case Law Update at the June quarterly meeting of the Minnesota Employers Workers Compensation Alliance on June 7, 2018. The Alliance is a non-profit organization that serves primarily as an educational forum for its members.
Membership is open to all Minnesota employers. Associate membership status is open to any person or organization with a bona fide interest in Minnesota workers’ compensation or companies that self-insure. Applications for membership are subject to approval by the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors.
The Alliance is one of the most effective voices in the Minnesota legislature and various State agencies with regard to workers’ compensation issues. The Alliance takes a proactive position against workers’ compensation legislation that has a negative effect on the costs and management of employers’ workers’ compensation cases. The Alliance constantly strives for positive reform that benefits employees as well as employers.
