Felhaber is proud to be recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work, once again earning a spot among just 15 organizations in the medium-sized company category (50–99 employees) in Minnesota. This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based entirely on confidential feedback from our team. More than 83% of our employees participated in the survey, and their anonymous responses produced an outstanding overall score of 90.02 out of 100. When asked to select a word that best describes our culture, the most common response was “collaborative” — a reflection of the supportive, team-oriented workplace we strive to foster every day.
As part of the survey, employees had the opportunity to offer additional feedback through open-ended questions. Their comments provide valuable insight into our workplace culture, and a few examples are highlighted below.
“I am very thankful for the firm’s flexibility and understanding which affords a very positive work-life balance. This, combined with the generous benefits package the firm offers, are two of the biggest factors resulting in the longevity of its employees”.
“In my practice I have the opportunity to see how a wide range of organizations operate, including other law firms. This has given me insights into how they treat their staff, what they emphasize as important, and how they deal with toxic employees. We have long been fortunate to have an organization that has routinely treated its employees well, has stayed focused on our mission of helping our clients and holding staff to high, yet achievable expectations”.
“It is a successful organization that has thrived in a very competitive legal environment. We recruit and manage our people well. I have been supported over the many years I have worked for the firm and know my colleagues’ value my contributions”.
Selected as one of only 65 organizations recognized statewide through an independent survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, employees evaluated their organizations on key workplace factors including leadership, communication, professional development, and inclusion. The companies receiving the highest overall scores in their respective workforce-size categories were recognized among the 28th annual Best Places to Work honorees. Now in its 28th year, the Best Places to Work awards program stands as the longest-running recognition in the Twin Cities honoring employers for creating exceptional workplace cultures. This recognition affirms our ongoing commitment to fostering a flexible, inclusive, and engaging workplace where our team members can thrive.
