At Felhaber Larson, collectively and individually, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. Each year, our firm hosts opportunities for our attorneys, staff and their significant others to participate in significant community-centric charitable events and programs.
School Supplies Drive
The 2024 Felhaber School Supply Drive was a great success. In addition to the 140 backpacks donated by the firm, Felhaber Larson also donated 4,410 school supply items that were packed up and sent to Kids in Need Minnesota. As a result of the firm’s efforts, hundreds of children in Minnesota were provided the supplies they need to succeed in the academic year.
Team captains Carol Eberhardt and Sue Nichols did an excellent job of collecting and logging donations. Both were instrumental in keeping their respective teams aware and engaged in the school supply drive.
Team Nichols donated 2,559 items and Team Eberhardt was very close with 1,851 items. The true winners, of course, were the children who received the school supplies they needed for the upcoming school year.
Felhaber Larson Adopts Four Families for the 2024 Holiday Season
Working in conjunction with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, Felhaber Larson adopted four families in need during the 2024 holiday season. Through the generosity of all firm members, the wish lists of all four adopted family members were filled and then some. After all was said and done, there was enough in extra donations to provide each family with a $100 gift card to Target and Walmart to purchase essential needs.
Every member of Felhaber Larson is very proud of the firm’s efforts to spread some joy during the holiday season.
Our Foundation
The Felhaber Larson Foundation is a private, registered 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting a variety of local charitable organizations. Each year, our Foundation seeks to fund not only organizations whose values closely align with ours, but also those that provide the greatest positive impact. The result? Grant beneficiaries whose role and reach provide some of the greatest value for those in need within our community. The Foundation does not seek or solicit external requests for funding.
Individual Community Involvement
Local schools. Social service organizations. Youth athletic associations. Within Felhaber Larson, you will find attorneys and staff members deeply involved, on their own time, with these and many other worthy community-based non-profit organizations.
Through leadership and service roles with local non-profit organizations, our attorneys and staff members seek to make a positive difference in the lives of others. We take pride in applying our knowledge, skills and resources toward directly helping a diverse array of individuals in our community.
