Felhaber Aids Local Developer’s Plan to Buy and Raze Home of Confessed Wetterling Murderer

Attorney Steve Yoch and the Felhaber Law Firm are proudly donating all legal services needed to help Tim Thone, owner of Thone Development, LLC, of Woodbury, finalize his intentions to purchase and raze the home of Danny Heinrich, the man who confessed to murdering Jacob Wetterling.

The media release reports that after seeing a news story about the house being in foreclosure and the city of Annandale not having the money to tear it down, Thone realized he could make that happen.  Thone remarked:

“When I saw the story, I turned to my wife and said we should tear it down. The Wetterling family and the community has suffered enough.” said Thone. “I made a few calls to friends in the business to get help and everybody agreed to assist immediately. It is what giving at the holidays truly means. Everyone can help in some way and this is my way. I encourage everyone to think about what they are doing for the holidays and include the Wetterling Foundation in their giving so they can continue their work to help many families.”

Along with Felhaber’s donations, Thone has secured assistance from Red Pine Industries to inspect the home for hazardous material and from DSM Excavating to demolish the house. Governor Dayton’s office also assisted in expediting the process.

Demolition is scheduled to begin on December 23.

Thone encourages everyone to support the Wetterling Foundation and has expressed his gratitude for Felhaber’s recognition of the Foundation’s wonderful work.  Felhaber Larson in turn applauds Thone’s generous spirit in bringing this important gift of closure to the Wetterling family.
