Felhaber Larson was proud to serve as an underwriter for the 37th Annual Law Day Testimonial Dinner.
This year’s Dinner honored Cathy Haukedahl. Cathy joined Legal Aid in 2002 as Deputy Director and served in that role until 2011 when she was named Executive Director of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, a post she held until her retirement in 2017.
Cathy’s passion for public service and expanded access to legal services helped guide the organization through difficult times during the recession of the previous decade. Notwithstanding funding pressures, Cathy helped Legal Aide forge valuable partnerships and initiate critical new programs to benefit community members desperately need quality legal services.
Prior to joining Legal Aid, Cathy was a shareholder with Felhaber Larson, serving during that time on our Board of Directors and as co-chair of our litigation section. Cathy was admired throughout the community for her litigation acumen and for her tireless work in service of the legal profession.
We are proud of the many accomplishments of our former colleague Cathy Haukedahl and we look forward to continuing our support of Legal Aid as Attorney Sara McGrane begins her tenure as president of the Legal Aid Board of Directors.
