Paul Zech Honored with the Leonard Lindquist Distinguished Practice Award

He was recognized at the MSBA Labor & Employment Section Annual Dinner held on June 9, 2026. This prestigious award recognizes attorneys who have made outstanding contributions to the practice of labor and employment law in Minnesota. Named in honor of Leonard Lindquist, the award celebrates excellence in civility, morality, honesty, and ethics to both the legal profession and personal endeavors.

Throughout a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years, Paul has previously served as President of Felhaber Larson and formerly led its Labor and Employment section as Chair. As a respected practitioner in labor and employment law, Paul has demonstrated a longstanding dedication to service within the legal community. He has contributed meaningfully to MSBA since 1984 and the Labor & Employment Law Section since 1989, and served as Chairman from 1993 to 1994.

Beyond the practice of law, Paul has devoted significant time and energy to community service and pro bono work, embodying the spirit of public service that the Leonard Lindquist Distinguished Practice Award seeks to recognize. The Labor & Employment Law Section’s Governing Council selects recipients based not only on professional achievement, but also on demonstrated commitment to improving the practice of labor and employment law in Minnesota.
