Tom Trachsel’s practice is primarily devoted to representing employers in all matters before the National Labor Relations Board, in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions, and in grievance-arbitration hearings. He also counsels employers on employee relations issues, interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, and compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws.

Tom recently served as co-chair of the Firm’s Labor & Employment Law Section for a number of years.

Prior to joining the firm, he was employed as an attorney by the Minneapolis Regional Office of the National Labor Relations Board.

Tom is an Associate Adjunct Professor teaching Labor Law at the University of Minnesota Law School (2015–2016, 2016–2017, 2017–2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021).

Tom is a recent past Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Labor and Employment Law Section.
