Chris E. Royal

Chris maintains an expansive practice in the areas of Banking and Financial Services Law, Business Law and Transactions, Estate Planning and Administration, Mergers and Acquisitions, Outside General Counsel, and Real Estate Law.

Chris concentrates on commercial and residential real estate transactions, development and financing, financial institutions, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, business formations, and tax and estate planning.  He draws upon his years as general counsel to a local financial enterprise to understand his clients’ perspectives, anticipate legal issues and provide effective counsel to minimize risk and achieve business objectives.

Chris is a member of the Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, D.C.
